Whether your child loves taking things apart, building with bricks, or asking how machines work, early childhood is the perfect time to nurture that curiosity. Junior Robotics at Nobel Courses introduces children to the fundamentals of STEM, engineering, and beginner-friendly coding in an engaging, hands-on environment.

Here is a clear guide to how the course works, what children learn, and how our flexible ongoing enrolment system operates.

1. Course Overview & Key Details

  • Location: Birkirkara, Malta
  • Age Group: 5 to 7 years old
  • Class Frequency: Once per week
  • Start Date: Started on 19 October 2026 (Enrolment remains open continuously)

2. What Children Learn

Junior Robotics combines practical building with fundamental technology concepts. Through play and structured challenges, students engage with four primary areas:

  • Basic STEM & Engineering: Exploring physical concepts like forces, motion, circuits, and sensors by building functional models and hands-on experiments.
  • Hands-on Building: Constructing simple, age-appropriate robots and learning how individual components interact to create movement.
  • Introductory Coding: Using visual, beginner-friendly coding blocks to program their creations to move, navigate pathways, and complete tasks.
  • Interactive Challenges: Children test their skills and work together in exciting practical activities like robot races, obstacle courses, and team missions.

3. Key Skills Developed

Through hands-on building and practical challenges, Junior Robotics helps children develop essential life skills that extend far beyond technology:

  • Logical Thinking: Understanding step-by-step instructions and seeing how individual parts interact helps children learn to structure their thoughts logically.
  • Problem-Solving: When a robot does not move or complete a challenge as expected, children learn to test ideas, troubleshoot, and adapt their approach.
  • Creativity: Building models and finding different ways to solve fun challenges gives young learners room to experiment and express their ideas.
  • Teamwork and Confidence: Collaborating on group tasks and seeing their creations come to life builds communication skills and instills pride in what they achieve.

4. How Ongoing Enrolment Works

Unlike traditional courses that require families to wait for a new term or the first day of a calendar month, Junior Robotics operates on a flexible ongoing enrolment basis.

  • Start Anytime: A child can join the course at any point during the year.
  • Immediate Attendance: Once your spot is confirmed and payment is completed, your child simply starts attending on the very next scheduled class day. For example, if your chosen class meets every Tuesday, they begin on the immediate next Tuesday after registering.

5. Pricing & Payment Options

We offer two flexible payment options: you can choose either a Monthly Subscription for €80 per month or a 3-Month Plan for €200 covering three months.

6. Holiday Policy & Lesson Schedule Adjustments

For lessons that fall on holidays, we follow these general guidelines:

  • Public Holidays: If a scheduled lesson falls on a public holiday, a replacement lesson will be organized on an alternative date so no sessions are lost.
  • Extended School Holidays (Christmas & Easter): For longer holiday closures where make-up sessions are not feasible, parents receive a direct refund for any affected lessons.
